Dear Class of 2020,

I want to acknowledge your positive attitude during this challenging and unprecedented moment in our lifetime.  You have truly modeled our mantra, “We Do What is RIGHT at Aldine Senior High School!”
Due to your perseverance and commitment, the majority of the senior class has successfully completed all academic requirements for graduation.  The official graduation date for Aldine Senior High School is Friday, July 24th at 5:30 p.m.  If you have any questions about your graduation status, please contact your academic counselor.
As we bring the 2019-2020 school year to a close, please mark your calendar with the following activities/events:
  • Friday, May 22nd at 7:00 p.m., The Virtual Decision Day Event will premiere on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRr_cdb9yqA 
  • Tuesday, May 26th, 12th grade students will be allowed to return to campus.  During this time, senior class members will receive a senior yard sign (if not already received), pay outstanding fees/fines, return textbooks/library books, Chromebooks, Hot spots, band uniforms, dance uniforms, cheerleader uniforms, and athletic equipment/uniforms.  Please park in student parking Lot E.  This parking lot is located near the bus ramp (facing Smith Stadium and 45 Freeway).
  • The week of May 26th-29th is Senior Spirit Week.  Please refer to the attached flyer in this email.
  • June 1st at 6:00 p.m. – Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney, Aldine ISD Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Trustees will confer all graduates on Aldine ISD Facebook page.
  • June 5th at 6:00 p.m. – The Aldine Senior High School and the other district high school will attend a celebration that is being planned by Mayor Sylvester Turner for the City of Houston. The ceremony will be held at W.W. Thorne Stadium. Please register https://forms.gle/dPVcAjGqhqTQRVx1A.   This event is only for seniors and assigned district employees.  Due to limited space and social distancing guidelines, family members and/or friends will not be able to attend..
